The Deep Calls

The ocean is calm, the waves at rest
The stars fill the night sky
I’m on a great vessel in the middle of the ocean
The vessel is full of people, music, and lights
I go up to the highest part of the vessel
I jump into the deep black water

I go down fast
The ocean’s surface is no longer seen
The ocean floor glows
I look up and around but see nothing
No rocks, no fish, no ocean grass, nothing

You allow me to see from Your eye’s view
You’re watching me
Your presence gives me air to stay
Here I am in the deepest of You
