Glory Flower

My stem is strong and tall
My petals stretch towards the sun

I grow emerald green
I sway in the winds that blow from Love’s seat

The star’s light kiss me goodnight
In the stillness of Heaven’s night, my petals are polished by my Maker
I am so taken care of

His Saints walk through the meadow I live in
Their fingertips touch my petals
I shine purple and silver for them
I sing and chant blessings to them

They smile at me and say, “Thank you”
